has anythought thought bout ppl exploiting "ferries"?
jus a thought

but yea....i'd like to be able to re-enter at anytime i please
(if jus for hells, cuz it really is an annoying mish)

how bout giving the option to start teh mish at rurik boss fight?
(to those that already beat it of course)

all end-game mishes r boss fights
vs shiro
vs abaddon
vs wutevertehthingfromeotniscalled

it should be vs. rurik+lich only
without killin all these annoyin things that spawn 3 times over jus to kill em
(no...not hard....but annoying and time consuming)

Are they going to fix the problem with people draggin you out of the area?

Length of the mission doesn't matter to me, weapons look awesome and I need a water staff.

They have a precedent in Kormir not being accessible until after you beat Abaddon. Therefore it can be done so that one can access from Kormir, Vision of Glint, and Kuunavang if one has already beaten the final mission. Or it could be added as an option to the shrines in general, with the option being grayed out if the condition is not met. Or just a single NPC gate guard in each game and the expansion.

/signed for characters that have done the missions.

Proph: a simple gate guard imo.
Factions: move that guardsman down.
NF: something in the Chantry of Secrets, perhaps?
EotN: NPC in the Central Transfer Chamber

However I think a storage at end games would be a much better idea.

/signed I already cashed in my stuff, dont want the skanky factions armor. But I can see where people would. Also while in factions end game, I got to see someone drop "so and so has lost his connection" and never connect. which was funny as hell but I bet he was ready to kill when it happened. I think if it is an end of the game area and we have beaten the game we should be able to map (party less) there. Its not the same as FoW as you have to fight things in FoW. In the end game areas there are no enemies. Unless you count the stupid phoenix when someone wants it for a pet.

There was an update that added a new end-game area to Prophecies. It has a collector for green Deldrimor weapons, a Deldrimor weapons crafter and some of the NPCs that you encountered throughout the game.

And I also think being able to travel there party-less is the perfect solution to having an accessible end-game area and limiting any exploitation possibilities to it significantly.

But the problem with this topic is that a lot of people posting here think the issue is about prophecies end-game area.
The topic is about endgame areas in general.

This isn't a half bad idea.

I don't think ferrying is an issue with this if it's made so that you have to have beaten it at least once on your character.

Solution for ferrying:
Being teleported away from your party.

This is a viable idea and I say that it can work. Some of us don't want to spend an hour deciding which endgame weapon is best for them.

Players might think it a bother to have to redo the end-game areas for things they want, but in re-doing them, it also gives first time players a chance to get into groups. End-game areas avoid being ghost towns if there is an incentive to complete it.

[edit] Bug Fixes

* Fixed a bug that prevented some Deldrimor crafted items from accepting appropriate upgrade components.
* Fixed a bug that would cause the entire party to zone when one player left the original campaign end game area.
Looks like we shouldn't get dragged out of the Hell's end-game area anymore.

While I agree it would be nicer to help people out, I have seen from almost the start of this game a certain elitism. If they are new and need help, most times the group will reject them anyway.

it goes like this.

"Ping you build Shai Lee"
*ping*
"What the F-ck kinda noob shit is that?"
*kick*

I have been in a party that this happened. I agree with you that player help would be nice but i dont see it happening. and on the other side of this I am lazy and dont want to have to do the stupid missions again.

did I mention I am lazy?

Though my friends and I sometimes help people who need such assistance, I rarely see others are nice enough to pay extra patience doing this.
It does sound like we are lazy, but it could be very nice to ease our way to make elite armours, selecting end-game items.

I also have thought of the meaning of "end-game item/area/armour", if we can freely revisit end-game areas as reward of achieving special requirements or designed hidden objectives, accessing these areas without redoing entire mission would be slightly reasonable. (Of cause, hidden requrement can be set to be very difficult as another joy of challenge.)

/sign there should just be a npc that can check and see if you have completed the mission and all other party members.

Okay, so it'd be a ghost town if you wouldn't have to re-enter the mission? Then why does Gate of Pain have people in it?You simply go to the next mission, never to return to Gate of Pain...

Also, are you blind or lack comprehension of the English literature??This thread is NOT about being teleported back to droknars forge and people wanting back in.It is about end-game areas in general.

Every time someone acts like this thread is about the prophecies endgame area, it makes me want to kill a kitten >_>
